In 2018, Matthew designed 10 conference rooms in the theme of Toronto’s subway stations for the Mozilla Foundation’s head office in Toronto.
Spacing 20th Anniversary exhibition, Urban Space Gallery
In 2023, Matthew designed the space of Urban Space Gallery for the Spacing 20th anniversary exhibition. It consisted of 10 wall panels of curated items from Spacing‘s archives that helped tell different stories from the magazine’s history.
Spacing Store
In 2014, Matthew led the launch of the Spacing Store, the retail outlet of the magazine. The shop has turned into the go-to destination for local residents and tourists looking for unique merchandise created by local artists and designers. Matthew worked with interior designer Sarah Keenleyside to help bring the Spacing aesthetic to a physical space.
