Over the course of my career, I have specialized in custom book design, report design, and communication campaigns. I’m also available for consulting projects and was a travelling consultant for Magazines Canada from 2005-2010.

Design, Illustration, & Photography: I art direct, design, and illustrate publishing and marketing materials, strategize and execute branding projects, and work in both environmental and signage design. My strong photography skills can complement the appropriate project or campaign.

Garage Mural: I have enjoyed the later-in-life addition of aerosol art to my range of skills and interests. I work with homeowners to develop a creative idea and colour palette to produce a memorable design. My graphic design skills transfer perfectly to garage murals. See my murals >
Speaking: I have taught in post-secondary journalism, architecture, and urban studies programs since 1997. I speak frequently at magazine and urbanism events, while also discussing a range of topics in the media in my role as publisher of Spacing. I’ve been told I’m an engaging storyteller, using my wit and passion for cities to entertain and inform audiences.
